Eligibility & Responsibility

  • Boat operation is strictly prohibited for individuals under the age of 18.

  • Consumption of alcohol by the renter before or during the rental period is strictly forbidden.

  • No license is required to rent a boat equipped with a 30HP engine.

  • The owner bears no responsibility for the operation of the vessel during the rental period; full responsibility lies solely with the renter.

  • The owner is not liable for any loss or damage to the renter’s or passengers’ personal belongings. The renter is solely responsible for any damage to the vessel or its equipment.

 

Safety & Navigation Rules

  • The vessel is insured.

  • The renter is responsible for the safe operation of the boat and the safety of all passengers. They must comply with all maritime regulations and properly use the safety equipment provided.

  • When swimmers are present, speedboats must not operate:

    • Within 100 meters of the outer limits of floating buoys marking designated swimming areas.

    • Within 200 meters from the shoreline in areas not marked with buoys, where swimmers typically reach.

  • When no swimmers are present, speedboats must still maintain a minimum distance of 200 meters from the coastline.

  • In all cases, vessel speed must not exceed 5 knots.

 

Arrival Time – Instructions – Payment & Cancellation Policy

  • A valid ID or passport must be presented on the day of rental.

  • A rental contract will be signed, outlining all general terms and conditions.

  • Depending on the vessel type, a valid boating license may be required on board and must be shown to Port Authorities if requested.

  • Upon arrival at the designated pick-up location, all necessary rental documentation must be completed, and any outstanding payments settled.

  • A detailed briefing will be provided, including:

    • A walkthrough of the vessel and equipment.

    • Signing of an acceptance form and inventory checklist.

    • Safety procedures and operational instructions, along with documentation and permits issued.

  • The renter must ensure that all equipment listed in the contract is in excellent condition before departure and return it in the same state.

  • In case of any issues with navigation, the renter must notify the rental company immediately.

  • In the event of an accident, the renter must remain at the location and contact both the rental company and local authorities without delay.

 

Payment Methods & Cancellations

  • A deposit is required to confirm the booking.

  • Payments can be made via cash, credit/debit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. No other payment methods are accepted.

  • In case of cancellations due to adverse weather or technical failure of the vessel, the renter will be offered either a new cruise date or a full refund.

  • Failure to arrive at the agreed time without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • No refunds are given for early returns.

  • Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the booking date are non-refundable.

  • Boat use is prohibited after sunset.

 

Renter’s Obligations & Additional Charges

  • The boat must be returned in the same condition as received.

  • Additional charges apply for late returns, unless due to mechanical failure.

  • The company accepts no liability for any mechanical or other damage resulting from misuse, nor for any lost or damaged equipment.

  • The renter is financially responsible for any damage caused to the vessel or its equipment due to improper use by themselves or their passengers.

  • Fuel provided is sufficient for the recommended routes. If fuel runs out due to travel beyond the designated area, the renter is responsible for refueling costs.

  • The vessel must be returned at the agreed time. Upon return, a full inspection of the vessel and equipment will be conducted.
